PC World’s Gordon Ung reviewed the new Lenovo LaVie Z using BAPCo’s MobileMark 2014 battery life benchmark to measure how long the laptop will run under typical office tasks. The LaVie Z came in with a reasonably good 8.75 hours of battery life on a 44-watt-hour cell. Highlights include a fast Core i7-5500U, 8GB of LPDDR3 and a 256GB Samsung M.2 SATA SSD inside. The system also includes two USB 3.0 ports, HDMI 1.4 and an SD card reader.
