PC World points out an increase in resolution can impact battery life. In their XPS 13 review, PC World used BAPCo’s MobileMark 2014 test. PC World noted that there’s no single test that can compare PC and MacBook battery life directly. PC World arrive at comparable numbers through reasoned use of similar tests.
